Digital Dentistry is here and allows dental practices to provide treatment in an entirely new way. This transformation is exciting, but at the same time, can be stressful. Mastering digital dentistry is about acquiring data, intraoral scans, and other 3D data and using that data to diagnose the patient and develop a treatment plan. From here, information can be shared with the laboratory or perhaps with in-office 3D printing to help deliver treatment. The goal of this presentation is to take the stress out of this process so that the entire dental team can be effective and confident in helping to deliver quality treatment to their patients.
Intraoral scanners and techniques to get quality scans will be demonstrated. Diagnostic and planning software will be discussed to show what is available not only for diagnosis but also for treatment planning. Treatment strategies that utilize the dental laboratory and in-office 3D printing will be shown to demonstrate how the future of digital dentistry is now.
